The International Development Office (IDO) is based at the SMA American Provincial House in Tenafly, New Jersey, and exists to seek funding to help cover the costs of educating almost 300 SMA students for missionary priesthood in Africa. Most of these students come from the newer parts of the SMA – especially Africa, India, Philippines and Poland – where vocations are plentiful but resources are often limited.
