SMA missionaries come from all over the world, and we serve in 16 countries throughout Africa. SMA missionaries also serve in other locations outside Africa where there is a large population of African heritage.

The SMA missionaries of the American Province (priests and lay missionaries) minister primarily in Liberia, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, and to people of African descent in the United States.

The international administrative headquarters is in Rome. The American Province of SMA is headquartered in Tenafly, New Jersey. In the United States, SMA has other major locations in New Jersey, Dedham, Massachusetts, Takoma Park, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.
