| New Lay Missionary in Liberia |
| Jadwiga (better known as Iga) Figula, S.M.A. Lay Missionary, arrived in Liberia mid- January. She spent her first three weeks up-country with S.M.A. Lay Missonary Ann Seliskar at the Ganta Leprosy Center in Ganta, Liberia. It was a good introduction to Liberia and the ministry at the Rehab. As Iga begins her ministry in Monrovia with the Youth, she writes: I am happy to be here. Today is my first day at work in the Archdiocese. The people are very nice. The Archdiocese is organizing a Retreat this weekend for the Youth in the town called Virginia. I have been asked to participate and take some photos. Later she writes: The first day was good! I am learning and observing. May the Holy Spirit guide me! |
