On October 31st, 2004, at the noontime liturgy in SMA's St. Anthony Chapel, at Tenafly, NJ, the American Province welcomed into the SMA family, Steven Majoros and Eliecer Sandoval our two newest seminarians. As seminarians they will join Dermont Roache, who is currently studying at Tangaza College in Nairobi, Kenya. For the next several months, Eliecer and Steven will be studying at our House of Studies in Dedham, Massachusetts, as they prepare to journey to France to begin their study of French language.
Also joining us at the Mass were two prospective candidates, Ricardo Passo and David Martinez. Ricardo and David were in Tenafly for a weekend retreat that was being conducted by the Vocation Team. The two prospective candidates indicated that they enjoyed their weekend visit and were looking forward to a continued dialogue with SMA.
